Nashville, TN (January 17, 2024) – Taylor English Duma LLP announced today that David “DC” Roberts joined t|e General Counsel, the firm’s fractional GC practice, as a partner in Nashville, TN.
“The addition of DC to t|e General Counsel is a continuation of our expansion across the country,” said Allen W. Nelson, co-founder of t|e General Counsel. “With DC’s in-house healthcare experience, not only do we enhance t|e General Counsel’s experience in this industry, we add new capabilities to Taylor English’s existing healthcare experience in Atlanta and Washington, DC.”
Roberts’ in-house experience includes researching and interpreting complex laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, negotiating multimillion-dollar contracts and agreements with domestic and international entities, and resolving complex legal disputes. Additionally, he provides guidance on corporate compliance and advising stakeholders.

Prior to joining t|e General Counsel, Roberts was Corporate/In-House Counsel and Chief Medical Compliance Officer for The Providence Groups (TPG), LLC and Corporate/In-House Counsel for Providence Consulting and Design. In addition to his corporate counsel experience, Roberts has experience in real estate and probate law, healthcare industry regulations, federal and state employment law, and immigration/international recruiting. He is also a Certified Medical Compliance Officer. He earned his JD from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Queens University of Charlotte. He is admitted in Tennessee.
The addition of Roberts closely follows the recent addition of partner Yusuf Mohamed in Atlanta, Georgia. t|e General counsel currently has 18 partners located in California, Georgia, Florida, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
