Taylor English Joins the VirtualBoard as the Legal Education Sponsor

Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that it has joined the Atlanta VirtualBoard as its Legal Education Sponsor. Taylor English will be represented by attorney Allen W. Nelson. With chapters in Atlanta and California, VirturalBoard runs unique peer-to-peer learning groups for business owners focused on maximizing value for an exit in 2-6 years. Chapters include up to twelve non-competing Entrepreneurs/Business Owners. Additionally, each VirtualBoard group consists of up to six professional service providers. Education Partners typically include: an investment banker, a corporate attorney, a wealth advisor, a CPA and other specialists that support successful business transactions. These professionals become the 'Sherpas' for the CEOs.

As an attorney at Taylor English, Nelson co-leads the Fractional General Counsel offering powered by Taylor English attorneys’ experiences as in-house lawyers with companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. In particular, Nelson served for eleven years as the General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Administrative Officer of Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRD.A and CRD.B). Within this role, he advised the company’s Board of Directors and senior management on a wide variety of legal and business issues. Nelson previously served as Chief Compliance Counsel for BellSouth Corporation (NYSE: BLS). He most recently served at the General Counsel of 8 Rivers Capital, LLC, an early stage company in the zero carbon emission energy space.
